Photoshop

 

Throughout the whole process, I have been using Photoshop PS6 software to create my magazine. I hadn’t really used this software before but I watched some tutorials on YouTube and picked up the basic concepts very quickly. But by using the software frequently I picked up the more advance skills as well which enabled me to perform harder tasks. I learnt skills like resizing, how to use the lasso tool meant I could take my picture and add it to a different background. I did this as I wanted to change the colour of the background to make the master head stand out more. This took a bit of time but it meant I could achieve the finish I wanted. Without this software, I wouldn’t have been able to create a clean and professional finish that is why I think it is vital to use this software. This meant I could achieve the same look as other magazines in my genre.
